The film follows the "Protoframes" doing battle against an army of Tecnocytes. We wanted to represent the characters as human beings; individuals with history and emotion who face a future of sacrifice to infestation, forced to work together with people they don’t trust to survive. This felt different to us than a typical game cinematic trailer where the focus usually falls on character archetypes like who’s the strong one, who’s the smart one etc. Instead, the piece focuses on the character relationships rather than the action nodding to the kind of narrative you can expect in the game!
